BERKELEY – Governor Chris Christie will hold a town hall meeting at the Bayville Elks lodge this Thursday to promote his new school fairness formula.
Governor Christie will hold a town hall meeting this week focusing on his school funding plan this Thursday, September 15th at the Bayville Elks lodge, located at 247 Atlantic City Boulevard (Route 9) in Berkeley Township.
Doors will open to the public at 2:00 p.m., with the town hall meeting set to kick off at 3:00.
A statement provided by the governor’s office said “At this town hall, Governor Christie will highlight his School Funding Fairness Formula and take questions from members of the audience.”
Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis. No bags of any kind will be permitted at the event due to security concerns.
