BERKELEY – Anonymous Democratic sources concerned with the shocking lack of transparency at this year’s convention have provided OCP with photos from inside the event, which in an unprecedented move is closed off to the public and the media.

According to a source present at the convention, Ocean County Democratic Chairman Wyatt Earp told attendees that no media was permitted inside the convention “because we are a family.” (whatever that is supposed to mean).

We have requested comment from the Ocean County Democrats’ Kathy Russell as to why the sudden need for secrecy, but thus far she has failed to respond.

Expect a follow-up article when we learn about who the Democrats endorse later today. As Erik Larsen’s article over at the Asbury Park Press noted, unlike the Ocean County Democrats, the Republicans allowed media inside their convention, which took place earlier this month.
